SABBATH – June 7, 2025
THEME: PROMISE #105 – VICTORY PARADE WITH ROBES WASHED WHITE IN HIS PRECIOUS BLOOD

SCRIPTURE: Revelation 7:13-15
“[13]Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?” [14]And I said to him, “Sir, you know.” So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. [15]Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them.”

REFLECTIONS

The privilege of serving God is an honorable one. However, serving in His presence before His throne daily is a precious experience for which we should strive. As we continue our walk with the Lord, we are transformed into His image and glory. We are called saints for immersing ourselves in the fountain of the Lord’s blood and emerging cleansed. God’s purpose will undoubtedly be fulfilled if we do not give up prematurely or allow ourselves to be deceived by the enemy. There is a fine line between focusing on Him and succeeding, and sinking by diverting our gaze from Him. Who, in their right mind, would choose hell over heaven? The promises revealed so far (104) inspire us to trust God and hope in His salvation.
Promise #105 is a precious assurance of our final victory in and through Jesus Christ, our Lord. In vision, John saw the saved, blessed, and divinely privileged. Victory is imminent because the enemy will never defeat those who abide in Christ. Revelation 7:13-15 summarizes our victory parade: “[13] Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?” [14] And I said to him, “Sir, you know.” So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. [15] Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them.” He shall dwell with us. Amen.
Beloved, let the hope of appearing before the throne of God be your earnest desire and inspiration. For Christ will surely present us to His Father and our Father (John 20:17). We are His proud harvest from His eternal sacrifice. What a day! On that day, arrayed in white robes, glistening and sparkling in His glory, we shall receive the promise and the blessing, confirming: “[16]They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; [17]for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” Every word of God is true. Every promise will be fulfilled. If we have anything to do, we better believe and act on His word, for soon we shall find ourselves rewarded for the little sacrifices we make by following the Lord Jesus Christ.
Heaven will be glorious because Jesus will present those who have remained in Him to the Ancient of Days. The day of the coronation will be here soon. You and I are destined to be saved and to be part of this glorious throng before God’s throne. On that day, our role as kings and priests of God will be celebrated (1 Peter 2:9; Revelation 1:6). His promise will not fail, but you can fail yourself, God forbid! For all that the Lord has done for us and with His abiding presence and help, let us aspire to persevere to the end and obtain the crown of glory. We should strive against all odds, knowing Jesus fights for us, to appear before the throne of the Almighty so we can sing the song of Moses and the Lamb. Victory does not come for the indolent and cowardly, but for the persevering and trusting.

MY SONG OF COMMITMENT
“Victory in Jesus” – Songs and Everlasting Joy

LET US PRAY

– Praise and thank God for fulfilling all the requirements for our salvation; pray to wash your sins in His blood, and abide in Him, and lead you into the kingdom of God;

– Pray for those who are persecuted for their commitment to God, or share their faith with others;

– Pray for Christians to lift Christ up and proclaim salvation through Him for the whole world to know;

– Pray for Christians who are despairing, losing the battle, overwhelmed with temptations, confronted with terrible spiritual battles, genuine preachers of the gospel; pray for the sick and needy.
