About 10,000 young entrepreneurs and start-up businesses are to be transformed annually in Ghana through the initiatives of Africa Street MBA
This was disclosed by Africa Street MBA Chairman, Mr King A Wellington during the official launch of Africa Street MBA in Accra
“Ladies and gentlemen, we have gathered here this morning to officially embark on a transformative but yet difficult journey; a journey that when travelled well will develop and strengthen the skills, instincts, abilities, processes, and resources of about 10,000 young entrepreneurs and start-up businesses annually in Ghana thereby enabling these young entrepreneurs and start-up businesses to survive, adapt, and thrive in a fast-changing world”.
The motive of the project is to enable young entrepreneurs and start-up businesses to survive, adapt, and thrive in a fast-changing world.
Africa Street MBA seeks to impact young people with world-class business knowledge based on top MBA curriculum and entrepreneurial course content.
The initiative Mr King Wellington indicated, would help reduce the high start-up failure rate in the country and by extension the Africa
He averred that, the project would further provide a platform for deprived young people – from poor background and with low education – but with bright ideas and existing businesses to also benefit from a world-class business development program.
“Most often, a young lady from the street of Tatale Sanguli or a young gentleman from the street of Awutu/Senya Breku do not get the opportunity to benefit from the serous business development programs and build world Class businesses”.
He therefore, thanked the Board of Advisors of DONE BY US for the support given to the team in implementing the Africa Street MBA program.
The Africa Street MBA is a continuous project and welcome new cohorts every year.
There would be series of events nationwide throughout the year. There would also be tailor made resources that would be developed and made accessible through the Africa Street MBA online channels and online hub.
