SCRIPTURE: Deuteronomy 31:8

REFLECTIONS

One critical fact of life is that God is faithful. His guidance makes dreams of good days, life, peace, and success possible. This new week promises to be bright if we seek God’s expert guidance and support promptly. His presence and leadership will provide the stamina, wisdom, and fortitude needed to navigate smoothly, confidently, and achieve desired outcomes. You will fear no foe, obstacle, or turbulent storm if your steps are sanctioned and anchored in God. Do you want an incident-free week? Do you aspire to succeed in your endeavors this week and beyond? Jesus Christ will lead you in that direction.
Promise #43 is one of the promises the patriarchs and Israel believed and experienced; it exemplified God’s power. Their incredible experiences stemming from this promise serve as a testimony to us today. Deuteronomy 31:8 reveals, “And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.” Let this promise be your request, prayer, and plea every morning. The favor and power that the one who requests receives, and that which the God of promise dispenses, is like dynamite. You are blessed to have the Lord going before you. He will pave the way for you to traverse.

When God goes before you, it is akin to being led by a motorcade—He will clear the path for seamless passage. Stumps, potholes, wild beasts, and adverse obstacles will be removed from your way. He will create a path through the sea and rocky mountains if needed. Anything He leaves untouched on the road you are treading is designed to teach you practical and relevant life lessons. Indeed, He will lead you to Canaan, but He will guide you through the Red Sea and the Wilderness road. When God has given you such a promise, only a heart of unbelief and pride would deny its fulfillment. If you have a divine leader and His presence, there is nothing to fear. His pillar of cloud will guide you by day and a pillar of fire by night (Exod. 13:21).

When God goes before you, He does not leave you alone to follow—He walks alongside you, so you are never without His company unless you choose to prevent Him. Two things He will never do are leave you alone or forsake you. By His character, God cannot abandon you. With His presence, He will take charge and keep you from falling. You have no valid reason to fear or be dismayed. If you doubt this promise and live in fear, that will be a disappointing denial of God’s faithfulness, love, compassion, power, and authority. God will not sacrifice His love and passion on the altar of unbelief and doubt. When you review the Bible, you will find that all those who sincerely trusted God never entertained fear of the enemy’s reprisals. Instead, they faced challenges with boldness and confidence in the strength and power of the Lord Jesus and the ministry of the holy Angels. For them, to live or die was for Christ.

The successful organisation of the fifth edition of the LCB Corporate Games further underscores the company's commitment to using sports as a platform to promote teamwork, corporate engagement and stronger relationships among businesses in Ghana.
