REMI Church worldwide celebrates 1st anniversary

Date:

Ruach Elohim Ministries International (REMI) has expressed gratitude to Ghanaians, the Obojo community and all the revered ministers of God who joined the church last Sunday September 8, 2024 to mark the church’s first anniversary, ascribing the success and glory to God.
The church which started with four people at the visioneer’s hall at Obojo near Bright School Complex, can now boast of more than 100 people within a year at a roll.
Giving the background to the birth of REMI, the founder and Head Pastor, Rev. Dr. Ismaila Hans Awudu said the church was born out of the direction and inspiration from God adding that it first started with four people, himself, the wife, driver and houseboy at the hall of the couple.

Rev. Dr. Ismaila added that, as time went on, the usual meeting was moved from the hall to the veranda when few people joined the fellowship. “And I remember vividly having a conversation with the Holy Spirit when I was praying and looking for a place for worship. While looking for a place of worship, the spirit immediately directed me to come out to my car park and there it has been till now,”

Addressing the congregation about what the Lord has done in the first one year, Rev. Dr. Ismaila said though the journey has been roughed and tough but those who trust in the Lord will always be victors.

Isaac principle

Speaking on the Theme “Rehoboth, the General Overseer of the Conference of Baptist International Church, Apostle Dr. Raymond K. Akam admonished Christians to learn the Isaac principle which is when things or society is trying to push or fight you from what belongs to you, you either shift or leave peacefully.

Apostle Dr. Akam cited Isaac example after digging wells to feed his family and livestock on two occasions, the people in the land fought him and took them from him but Isaac instead of responding by fighting them, moved on or shifted.

“So in life, when you confront situations at your work place, family, business and others, what you need is calmness, quietness and direction to move or shift,” he stated.

The Member of Parliament for Adentan Constituency, Abu Ramadan paid a visit to the church to celebrate the one year anniversary with them and asked for God’s prayers to break the one term MP mandate in the constituency.

Ministers of God

Some prominent ministers of God who graced the occasion and became blessing to the congregants are Apostle Abraham Lamptey, Rev Dr. Francis Sey, Prophet S.O. Amankwaa and Apostle Dr. Raymond K. Akam and a host of other men of God.

The one year celebration which started on September 3, 2024, was climaxed on Sunday September 8, amidst jubilation and thanksgivings.

REMI CHURCH born out of Gods vision is here to complement the good work being carried out by all churches of God in Ghana and His ministers for the end time assignment. “We thank everyone who made our anniversary and inauguration possible.”
