“The data announced during the release of the 2023 national and sub-national HIV and AIDS estimates and projections also showed that a total of 334,095 people are living with HIV/AIDS in the country, 17,550 of the number being children below 15 years.

He said such health developments put much responsibility on the clinic to prioritize the education and the sensitization of the people in the area against the further spread of diseases including TB, Cholera, Malaria, and typhoid.

Alogboshie community he mentioned is overpopulated leading to serious hygiene challenges with its associated diseases such as typhoid, malaria, and other related disease.

Mr. Emmanuel Dapaah stated that, Malaria is more dangerous than COVID-19 saying, that statistics available indicated that malaria killed more children and the elderly than COVID in the country.
He said that based on the dangers associated with malaria, the Management of AD-Viesta Clinic has advanced to educate the community on how they can stay in a hygienic environment with potable water in other to reduce the high rate of malaria in the community and the Municipality in general.

“For the economy to grow, you can’t do away with the health. Health is most important because if people are not in good health condition, they cannot do anything. All these we take into consideration as part of our contribution to the nation’s development that, we will establish the clinic”.

The clinic he hinted has modern facilities to give quality health care to the people at an affordable price.
