Resonate Ghana, with support from the Black Star Experience and the Diaspora Affairs Office at the Presidency, has announced plans to host the maiden edition of the largest international auto trade fair and exhibition in Accra.

Scheduled for 24th to 28th November, 2026 at Black Star Square in Accra, the Ghana Auto Trade Fair & Exhibition (GATFE 26) aims to position Ghana as a regional automotive hub in West Africa, stimulate economic growth through job creation, enhance skills development, drive industrialization, promote innovation, and open up export opportunities for both local and international players.

The 5-day fair is expected to bring together key prominent stakeholders across Ghana’s automotive value chain including spare parts dealers, auto mechanics, vehicle importers, manufacturers, logistics firms, financial institutions, policymakers, insurers, regulators, and technology providers. It will serve as a one-stop platform for networking, deal-making, and showcasing the future of mobility in the country.

Speaking ahead of the event, the CEO and Founder of Resonate Ghana, Madam Theodorah M. Wuni, called on strategic funding partners, sponsors, and government institutions to support the execution of the landmark fair. Read Also: Hope: The Future Tense of Continuity

“This proposal seeks support from sponsors, partners, donors, and government agencies to ensure the success of GATF 26 and to leverage its potential to transform the automotive landscape in Ghana.

“In return, partners will gain high-value visibility, market access, brand positioning, and direct engagement with a targeted audience,” she stressed.

Madam Wuni noted that GATFE 26 will deliver impact across six key areas. Industry Integration will connect every player across the automotive ecosystem to foster collaboration and strategic partnerships. Economic Growth will be driven by boosting trade, attracting investment, and enhancing productivity in the auto sector. Through Skills & Capacity Building, the fair will offer training workshops and live demos for mechanics, technicians, and SMEs.

Innovation & Technology will be showcased through exhibitions of modern tools, digital solutions, and emerging mobility options including electric vehicles. The platform will also prioritize SME Empowerment by giving spare parts dealers and small businesses direct access to suppliers, financiers, and new markets. Finally, Policy Dialogue will provide a space for direct engagement with regulators and policymakers shaping Ghana’s automotive future.

She disclosed that visitors and exhibitors can expect to see the latest vehicles, aftermarket products, tools, and cutting-edge technologies. The exhibition will also highlight innovation in manufacturing, after-sales service, and sustainable transport solutions.

According to the CEO, measures and procedures for registration and participation have all been outlined across their various social platforms. http://www.ghanaweb.com
