A colorful event took place at Yeji yesterday when the registered GNTDA under the NVTI examined the apprentice who came under their training for some years. After the examination, Eighty(80) passed and was graduated successfully yesterday.

Chairman of the Association(Yeji branch), Mr. Effah Amos explained that since they started as a registered association, they passed out apprentice not less than 50 every year.

He further said that due to financial constraints, most of the graduands are not able to set up their own shops and are left to unnecessary. This discouraged others especially people who have completed some levels of education with no jobs but could find the alternative way of becoming apprentice.

He asserted all the graduands have successfully passed their National and Local examines and have being awarded a *”Professional and Accredited Certificate” from NVTI.* With the certificate, they could be contracted by Government or the public sector. Some can also join the various security service with this certificate together with other certificates.

One of the masters with name Mr. Mark said Tailors are not liars as it is the perception of the public but due the nature of their job and pressure on them, if they’re not able to satisfied a custom, they seen as liars. Madam Mary advised the graduands to go in peace but start life with a place they will find themselves and the future will be bright.
