The Palestinian Ambassador to Ghana, Mr Abdalfatah A.K. Alsattari has expressed his appreciation to President Akufo-Addo and the entire people of Ghana for their continuous support towards the struggles for Israelis invasion.
According to him, Ghana has all the time stand by the people of Palestine adding that, Ghana always stands for justice, international law and human rights.
Mr. Abdalfatah Alsattari made this known when addressing a massive crowd during a Palestine Solidarity March and Socialist Movament of Chana Car Parade in support of Palestine in Accra.
The Car Parade which started at the University of Ghana Traffic Light, Oponglo, ended at the Hearts of Oak Park in Accra.
According to the Ambassador, a lot of countries in the world continue to show support for the people of Palestine, after watching television and get to know what the Israelis are doing to the people of Gaza.
He indicated that, so far about 37, 000 people in Gaza have been killed by the Israelis of which over 15, 000 are made up of children and babies with over 10, 000 being women whilst more than 100, 000 injured.
“This is war crime against my people. This is genocide against my people. Now the people are coming out from the dark to the light. They stand to understand what is happening. I will like to thank the world about their support and we believed that the occupation would leave. This occupation cannot continue on our lands”.
The struggle of Palestinians he mentioned, started the first moment when the Israelis occupied the country and since then have suffered for over 75 years under the occupation..
“And listing to me, the first moment when the Israelis started occupying my country, my people started the struggle. The Israelis has killed people including Journalists, students, nurses, Doctors, teachers, bombing our houses, stealing our lands for over 75 years now and all the world knows what is happening in Palestine”.
He further stated, “Now is the moment towards the world for the UN to understand more and more about Palestine and all of them saying in one voice that, those occupy should leave Palestinian lands”.
