THEME: GOD SHALL AVENGE HIS OWN
SCRIPTURE: Luke 18:7-8
“[7]And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? [8]I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”
REFLECTIONS
There is absolute hope that your prayers will never be in vain. Not all prayers receive their answers immediately. Most of the time, persistence and perseverance are required to make the prayer effective and fulfilling. When the conditions of answered prayer are met – a request made in the name of Jesus (John 14:13-14), sins confessed (Psalm 66:18), belief in God expressed (Mark 11:24), no doubt entertained (James 1:6-8)
