THEME: LOVE AND WORDS YOU CAN TRUST DAILY

SCRIPTURE: Psalms 103:13-14
“[13]As a father pities his children, So the Lord pities those who fear Him. [14]For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.”

REFLECTIONS

Great is our God, who knows all about us and still loves us. He knows our dark secrets, yet He still loves us to the point of “chasing” us with His love – compelling us to choose life. God does not give up on us so quickly as we do to our fellow spiritual weaklings. The beauty of God’s love is that though priceless, He considers human life important; therefore, He lavishes His love even on the undeserving and the outcast. For God, you should be a prince or a princess in His kingdom – that is His expectation for you.

Be assured that in every circumstance and precarious situation, God has an answer and a solution for you. You do not need to anchor your faith in God and doubt your safety. For those who come to Him, Christ will never cast away. Our Father yearns to see all His creatures turn to Him for life and all its blessings. Never assume that you have to fight your own battles. If you cannot see and feel the presence of God, the psalmist has a message for you to meditate upon: Psalms 103:13-14 – “[13]As a father pities his children, So the Lord pities those who fear Him. [14]For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.” In verses 11 and 12, God reveals His great mercy and how He has taken away your transgressions. Today, you can experience God’s agape love.
God knows our challenges, struggles, and failures. He would wish we did not experience any fall whatsoever; nevertheless, He has made provisions to take care of our falls. God’s marvelous, unconditional, selfless love for us cannot be fully comprehended.  Have you considered that the Lord who created us wields power to create new persons if He so desires? But the good news is that He has settled His love on us and would go to any extent to save us. God sees our victory in Him as more important than creating a new set of human beings to replace us – wicked and sinful people.  Those who fear God can continue to enjoy His sympathies and incessant support.  God knows and understands our feeble nature and acquiesces that we need divine help to survive.

Consider the following two biblical facts in Job and Isaiah. Job 5:17-19 declares: “[17]“Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects; Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty. [18]For He bruises, but He binds up; He wounds, but His hands make whole. [19]He shall deliver you in six troubles, Yes, in seven no evil shall touch you.” The Book of Job urges us to open ourselves to God’s instructions, directions, and guidance. However painful and heartbreaking your situation may be, God will allow you to go through the full length of the process for your ultimate good. While you may be frustrated and overwhelmed by lessons God intends for you to know, Isaiah 46:4 promises: “Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you.” If you believe this is truly God’s word, say Amen and pray.
