Okoe Vanderpuije to lead NDC Again in Ablekuma South

The people of Ablekuma South Constituency have vowed to vote massively to retain Hon. Alfred Okoe Vanderpuije as their Member of Parliament (MP) for him to continue with the developmental agenda started in the Constituency

This was manifested through a large crowd amid with singing and dancing who accompanied Hon. Okoe Vanderpuije to file his nomination forms at the Ablekuma South Constituency office in the Greater Accra Region.

The people also assured to vote massively for former President John Dramani Mahama in the 2024 general elections to come and placed the country in the right direction for a better living.

In an interview, Hon. Alfred Okoe Vanderpuije pointed out that when people elected you to lead, they do so, for your to contribute to the development of the Constituency adding that, the NDC is looking forward to come to power and that, with John Dramani Mahama as the next President of Ghana, he Okoe Vanderpuije would also have the opportunity to be a member of the Government and with the experience acquired for 8 years, he can contribute meaningfully to the development of the nation.

“Wherever I will find myself in the next NDC Government, I will make a significant contribution. The people of Ablekuma South have challenges and I will make sure those challenges are addressed under John Dramani Mahama administration “.

Hon. Okoe Vanderpuije emphasised that, he would advocate for students who cried everyday for the payment and support for their education.

He added that, there are a lot of schools in Ablekuma South that are facing challenges mentioning furniture, rehabilitation of Millennium schools built under John Dramani Mahama, construction of new schools, improving road networks in the constituency which he left behind etc.

It is based on these and other challenges that Hon Vanderpuije said the NDC and former President John Dramani Mahama has to come and continue with where they left behind . “Look at the drains in Ablekuma Southampton, they are where I left it . We need to come and continue with where we left and control the flooding. The unemployment of our youth is of concern and we know how to do it. With John Dramani Mahama as our President, with Okoe Vanderpuije  as part of the Government, the people of Ghana have nothing to worry about but to rejoice that the days of development will comeback”.

Hon. Okoe Vanderpuije however, entreated the delegates to vote massively for him to be retained because, they knew what he can do.
